How To Increase Targeted Web Site Traffic To Your Site?
I have noticed in Many marketing forums How newbies give up in search of building traffic in less than 6 months. Building Long term targeted traffic takes time and dedication towards your website. You need to work towards getting Web site traffic and optimize accordingly.
Before You read anything about SEO or traffic building, You need to remember it takes time to get free and targeted traffic to your website. You might have heard some X guy getting 1000′s of visitors in its first month. But Do not hasten the process of organic traffic.
In this post I will be discuss long term SEO building tips that’ll help you build a profitable website.
Any website that wants to make money needs to get optimized, and stay that way. Running and SEO campaign once or twice isn’t enough in this market: you need to consider long-term maintenance
of your SEO.
For Long term planning You do not need to chase search engine algorithms on daily basis. As Search engines improves their algorithms quite often. It’d be waste of time and effort to chase
them. Better You can do is understand basic SEO techniques and keep building a powerful resource in your niche.
Some tips for long term SEO.
1. Check on your pages regularly and make sure they’re still listed. Your listings are the most important part of your SEO work. Whether the page is listed or not is vastly more important
than what key words you have etc. After all, if you aren’t listed at all what good is it to optimize?
2. Watch for bad links or broken links in your site. Fix it as soon as possible. Any missing pages should be checked out thoroughly. Chances are that the system has run into a problem, but if you don’t check it out you may very easily be wrong. I had one of my blogs PR dropped in matter of 24 hrs when I wasn’t checking it. Somehow I recognize my mistake and worked towards
building it again. Now My blog got back its PR and traffic.
3. Resubmit your sitemap if you make major changes, but not for anything smaller. It’s better to have a blog giving latest details on minor changes.
4. Create monthly ranking reports on your site, to see if any changes need to be made.
5. Keep submitting your site to the big directories, as spiders use these as a starting point. This point is not stressed more often. If you need traffic from Bing and Yahoo, You need to do
this. Some directories will provide you low cost listing for a year (sometimes lifetime). Normally they have High PR pages. So it’ll help you a lot.
Besides from Basic SEO techniques You need not to worry a lot about regular fluctuations in your rankings. Though you need to keep an eye on your rankings and try to notice which factors
are giving your results.
6. While we are on building links, You need to work on getting lots of link backs regularly. Be it Link exchange or one way links through submitting articles. Do it regularly.
7. Watch your competitors and the methods they use. You’ll learn a lot by watching and understanding what your competitors does.
8. Keep updated yourself on your niche. Issue press releases Often if possible. Press releases are not like articles. Make them “news”. This will bring targeted traffic to your site.
9. Update Your articles on regular basis. Most Experts suggest Updating it at least once a week. Write a 500-750 word article and publish it on your site. Go for low traffic keywords which are searched less than 400-500 times a month.
10. You need to know how to analyze your own website. Though You’ll find lots of articles on Website Optimization but before you go Let me give you a link to one of the software which I use For obtaining High Rankings for my sites. With this Software You’ll be able to spy on your competitors site and If need you can copy his exact methods which helped him gain into top rankings.
This might seem like a lot of work for a small website or company, but you need to do it to help your website grow. If you don’t have growth, you have nothing. No business wants to stay
where it is forever, and SEO is a good way to get more business and stay in the race.

The Entrepreneur Bootcamp 09 Aftermath

I have been thinking for the past few days and even tossing and turning last night thinking to myself whether this is the right thing to do, even now as I type this on my train journey home I still am wondering and keep changing my mind thinking if I should actually do this,
So what I am asking for basically is your help here, what I have been planning out last night (yes it was a late one) and all today is a great strategy. As you know I attended the Entrepreneur Bootcamp 09 at the o2 arena yesterday and there was some fantastic speakers on show and they had a lot to offer, me been human I took down notes, obviously been human I learnt some new things and some things I already knew, when thinking back to the event now the majority of the things they were teaching I could actually be teaching people in more depth. So then came that Ureka moment…
I spoke to many people at the event and what most of them were telling me was the reasons for not getting started were:
They didn’t know how to
No Time
Lack of funding
Move from one opportunity to another
Like I said all these great speakers gave great content to an extent, but like I said in my previous post, it was the 80-20 rule 80% content 20% selling. Even though they was offering all these shinny bonus packages with there programs and packages I realised when the prices came up peoples faces did drop, I was never there yesterday to buy anything more of just what to see is on the market currently and to win the Bentley GT J. So what I decided to “observe” was everytime the speakers offered a price for there courses I turned my head around me to see how people got so excited by what they was offering with what I said was the shinny bonuses and packages, so everyones emotions were on a high then the happy arm reaching people faces seem to become jaded once figures off £1000- £9000 were coming out to be part of the course and get all the shinny bonuses! Don’t get me wrong this was not in every case some people were filling in forms with their credit cards out within minutes! Now I do not know if it is me, but people basically paid a donation to the great charity “make a wish” to attend this spectacular event, so keeping this in mind I didn’t think many people would be forking out on average around £2500, on courses and products that the speakers were offering. No where on the ticket it said, “Please bring your Platinum Credit Card with you as you will be offered everything!” Oh by the way on a positive note some speakers were very generous by offering payment plans and guarantees which as you can imagine drew people in even more.
I Know how Internet marketing works and people buy on emotions i.e. When the speaker says “only 200 places” or be one of the 1st 20 to receive blah blah blah, but then to my amazement I still saw people signing up for the exact same course or product on the last day after the event as what people were signing up for on the first day and getting the same offer!… Hmmm I thought to myself, so when I left on the Saturday night I took one of Armand Morions leaflets and looked through it and realised I know half of the strategies he is using. So this got me umming and arghhing again.
So what I now have in motion, with my thoughts 90% towards this idea in this is to help people wanting to get started with Internet Marketing, people who I spoke to over the past current days, people who did not have the thousands of pounds to fork out for these courses and packages. This is for people who just want to learn and better their life! So what I have put together is what I like to call a “lite package” not light on information but lite on price, catchy?? What this means is people who want to learn Internet Marketing actually can, I have all this knowledge within Internet Marketing and they say knowledge is power BUT it is nothing if you do not use it am I correct? Like I said this thought is now turning into something which is where it all starts, No sales page set up just a simple blog post at the moment!
Like I said I need your help, if I am to go through with this I clearly need people who are willing to actually put their foot forward and take action. No price has been confirmed yet, but the package has and for new internet marketers all the way upwards will be able to benefit from this.
I do not want to give too much away but basically, if you are looking to build your own successful funnel; get traffic to your page; convert prospects to sales then this is for you and they are just three of the parts that are covered in this program. This is what I propose what I want to do is see how many people are actually interested so what I ask for is if you look below there is a opt in box for you to enter your name and email, do not worry you are not signing upto anything (yet!) what I want to see is how many people are looking to take action but at a price they can afford! When I was starting out with Internet Marketing there would have been no way I would have forked out over £2000 on packages! So why should you? So here is your chance, if you took anything on board from the two day seminar then one thing was to take Action, what do you actually have to loose?
Entrepreneur bootcamp 2009 Review
The entrepreneur bootcamp was a two day seminar hosted by Andrew Reynolds which brought some of the great names of internet marketing together, by the names of Joel Comm, Armand Morin, Tom Hua and many more. Over 7000 people attended at the O2 Arena in London and as you can guess the information was phenominal, even at the end of it all a lucky guy won Andrew Reynolds Bentley Continental!
I had one of the great seats in the building 2nd row centre from the front
nicee I could even see the spit coming out of the speakers mouths!
There was a lot of great content shared and was suitable for everyone from newbies, through to intermediate! It even gave me Ashley Wright some new ideas to take my business further! What I realised speaking to people at the events is that they all had the same problem! They didn’t know where to start! Some people had it right in frot of them in black and white and still didn’t have a clue! What all the speakers did was went for the 80-20 rule, 80% of content then 20% of sell sell sell, and didn’t they do a great job of that, the amount of people who left there seats before the speakers had even had finished! Some speakers were offering packages from £1300 all the way through to £8997! So some serious cash was been splashed about!
Heres just six names below of some of the speakers and what they were speaking about
Andrew Reynolds- Great guy in my eyes with all the work he has done for Make a Wish Charity and his donations and help he has provided over in Africa, Andrew spoke abit about mindset and how you can reach your goals, he then went into depth about all the types of label rights, he also went into depth about his new products he has to offer, and how the recession shouldn’t affect us which he was totally right about.
Kirt Christensen- An Adwords genius who has spent thousands of dollars with Adwords, but at the same time has made millions! I learnt alot from Kirt, and got a chance to briefly speak to him after and he is a very good guy! Went through some basics with adwords and how to spend your money wisely using Adwords.
Simon Coulson- This guy stood out to me and many others sitting around me as for one, he was from UK no disrespect to the other speakers, but he also just told it how it was and kept it nice and simple, he even told us about his band he has and then went onto perform on stage with his band! His knowledge was very good, and with 5years on the internet and sales coming out of his ears he is someone to look into if your are wanting to take Internet Marketing seriously.
Tom Hua- Apparently the King of Ebooks! Really good speaker, and you can tell he is a veteran in the game and still going strong, he also spoke about PRIMO which was really good, as not many people actually knew what it meant before hand.
Joel Comm- The creator of the amazing app, IFart, before this event I had been following Joel Comm, as he is such a great Internet Marketer and is just going on to bigger and better things. He even admitted to been a kid at heart which is always a good thing to see from Internet Marketers, even though he was the last speaker he did give one of the best presentations.
Armand Morin- A great Internet Marketer and a guy who just wants to keep going and going, like I said earlier, I did get a quick chance to speak to him, and he loves what he is doing, the deal he gave away did catch my attention “The Full Monty” as it had some great bonuses with it.
This was just a quick update, I took a few flicks on my Iphone and I will try to upload them asap! If you did attend I look forward to reading comments from you!
