What Is Your Character?
This is a good and relevant topic if you are looking to be successful online or have any impact and want to make big bucks as an Internet marketer. Believe me when I say all the top internet marketers have a character so why don’t you?
What you have to remember is, (and do always remember this) that a customer will not buy from you if you have the best product but you are the most boring person in the world!
People will buy from you because there is something different about you which is your character. I an not saying you have to change or be something your not because the fact is not everyone is going to like what you do so do not worry about that for a minute!
If you think about it, there are usually hundreds of affiliates promoting a new launch at a time and the key to what the top marketers do that gives them the title “Guru” is that they nurture their list from day one which means even though that same subscriber maybe on 5 or 6 other peoples lists because they have been looked after and been given great content they usually 9times out of 10 will buy from that same person when they promote a product as they have that bond between them.
When someone joins you email list you have to treat them like a seed (not literally) and as time goes on you give that seed food and water and eventually the seed turns into a nice flower! This should be the same as your subscriber. You give them great information and knowledge which in the long run will help them become a successful internet marketer.
So the main thing you want to be worrying about is the people who do like you and how you can continue to provide them with great value and in return you will find that they will be filling your pockets with their cash when you promote a product to them. These are the people that matter to you and believe me when I say it will be more beneficial looking after the group of people who look upto you and adore you rather than going after the folks who have already made there mind up that they do not want to follow you.
In time you will have your own fan base (usually your email list) and if you stick by them then I guarantee they will stick by you! So go and become a character or a role model in your niche and in the long run you will be more successful…
Getting The Most From Your Subscribers
E-mail Marketing in my eyes is what can make or break you on the internet, however many people really don’t actually understand how to “make it work.” If the money is within the list then why are more and more people not benefiting from this? Here are some important points you’ll want to think about when you are looking at email marketing.
Having a call to action
With regards to email marketing you want to ensure that you’re “involving” your readers. It may be anything as simple as sending your readers to a article or perhaps a video on YouTube because it means your e-mail is requesting them to perform something which is key. There are two purposes for actually doing this:
1. You are able to keep track of your click-through rates.
2. It’ll narrow down and provide you with a greater idea of your readers that enjoy following your emails and you can see exactly what call of action your readers prefer.
Believe me this information will help you over time and will help to develop a foundation within your email marketing.
Consistency
This is actually the primary part of email marketing, if you get this part incorrect then you are doomed. Some people state you should email daily, some people state once a week. Personally there isn’t any specific formula on the number of emails you should send each and everyday but the thingyou need to do is be consistent. You don’t want to send four emails out in one week then leave it a month prior to sending the next email. This is exactly what drives high unsubscribe rates. The main reason for this is because your subscriber after not getting an email from you in sometime will actually forget what they subscribed to and then you have lost them permanently.
Killer Headlines
You want to get your emails read at the end of the day, so how would you go about this? Write killer headlines! Headlines have one purpose, and one purpose only, and that is to get your reader to read on. Therefore it does not matter exactly how great your email copy is, if your headline cannot stand out in your readers inbox, then the fact is, it will end up in the trash. You think to yourself, you must get a dozen of emails each and everyday but why do you open certain emails? The true fact is because the email stands out!
Short and sweet
It comes down to the fact again that if you have a dozen emails do you want to be sitting there all day reading through each and every individual one? Emails in my eyes are a “Good” distraction but you do not want to make the distraction into something long and boring that will make your subscribers sick to see the sight of your long emails. Some people like long emails personally I think they are a no go. If you want to get your reader to read a long article you have put together then trust me add a “call an action” leading to your article. Your subscribers will love you for it!
Trust me if you start to use these steps in your email marketing you are likely to notice a huge improvement and your email marketing will begin to perform like clockwork.
